Healing Beyond Symptoms – A Journey Toward Wholeness
I’m Dr. Tanvi Mahant, a classical homeopathic physician with over 10 years of experience in holistic care. After completing my BHMS and M.D. in Practice of Medicine, I gained rich clinical experience through hospital work, teaching, and private practice.
I specialize in women’s hormonal health (PCOS, thyroid issues, infertility), chronic lifestyle diseases, and pediatric care. My approach blends classical homeopathy with emotional wellness tools like Transactional Analysis, REBT, and the Karkoff Empathy Model—offering personalized care that heals both mind and body.
Milestones
A Journey of Healing and Growth: From Homeopathy to Holistic Care
During my BHMS studies, I gained extensive clinical and practical experience at Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital. I also received Gynecological and surgical exposure at B.S.E.S. Hospital in Andheri and had the opportunity to assist eminent specialists, including Dr. Sanjeev S. Khanna, a senior gastroenterologist, and Dr. Hemal Bhagat, M.S., a skilled surgeon. Additionally, I further refined my expertise during a two-year RMO tenure at Sadiwala Nursing Home in Vile Parle, while deepening my knowledge of Classical Homeopathy under the mentorship of renowned homeopaths.

The Beginning
Graduated with a BHMS from the prestigious Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Homoeopathic Medical College. During my internship, I gained invaluable clinical training at esteemed institutions like Mumbadevi Homoeopathic Hospital, Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital, and Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai.

I began my homeopathic practice at Vimal Hospital in Gorai, Borivali West, where I started treating patients with a focus on individualized care.
I earned an M.D. in the Practice of Medicine from Yerla Medical Trust, Navi Mumbai, further deepening my expertise in managing complex medical conditions.

I joined Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Homoeopathic Medical College as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine. Over the next six years, I taught aspiring homeopaths and managed diverse pathologies at Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital. In June 2022, I decided to leave my teaching role to focus entirely on my practice.

Motivated by a passion for helping others, I started a charitable clinic at Ram Mandir, Malad, Mumbai, providing affordable healthcare to those in need.

I inaugurated a new clinic at Malad to extend my services to a larger community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my clinic remained open to serve patients both offline and online, offering unwavering support and treatment to those in need. This period also included community service initiatives for COVID-19 relief.

Exploring Counselling
To enhance my ability to address patients’ emotional well-being, I pursued a counselling course in the Robert Karkoff model and Transactional Analysis through Heart to Heart Institute, Colaba. This training marked the beginning of my journey in personal counselling.

Continuing Growth
I embarked on further training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) through Heart to Heart Institute and am on track to complete a Diploma in Counselling. This new chapter integrates holistic healing and psychological well-being into my practice.

Completed Diploma in Integrative Counselling (March 2025), Heart to Heart Centre, India – training in Robert Carkhuff’s Model, REBT, and Transactional Analysis.
